Back to School Bash
You can make a difference in your community!
Every year, some students go back to school without basic supplies. We’ve partnered with the Decatur Education Foundation and City of Decatur Schools to make it simple for you to make a difference.
Volunteer: Volunteers are needed for the Back to School Bash to help collect and sort supplies in advance. Sign up to volunteer at the City of Decatur Schools website.
Donate Supplies: Our goal is to collect the following items:
- 100 packs of notebook paper (wide or college-ruled)
- 100 composition notebooks (wide ruled)
- 100 packs of colored pencils (12 pack)
- 100 packs of index cards (3 x 5)
Backpacks and school supplies can be dropped off at the Decatur High School bus lane (Commerce Drive) from July 8-12, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., or purchased from the Decatur Education Foundation Back to School Wishlist.
