FAITH CATALYSTS: FIVE WAYS GOD GROWS A FAITH
PRACTICAL TEACHING: Biblical truth taught in a way that is understandable, relevant, and applicable to real life.
PROVIDENTIAL RELATIONSHIPS: Key people God places in your life to shape, challenge, encourage, or redirect you.
PRIVATE DISCIPLINES: Personal spiritual habits like prayer, Bible reading, fasting, and solitude.
PERSONAL MINISTRY: Serving others and engaging in God’s work through your talent, time, and energy.
PIVOTAL CIRCUMSTANCES: Major life events, both positive and painful, that shape dependence on God.
DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
- Which of the five faith catalysts has God used most powerfully in your life so far, and why do you think that catalyst has had such a strong impact on you?
- Which private spiritual disciplines or exposure to practical teaching need greater consistency in your life, and what would it look like to build healthier rhythms around them?
- How well are your current relationships actively sharpening your faith, and if not, what changes may be necessary to pursue a stronger spiritual community?
- How might God be inviting you to grow through personal ministry, service, or generosity in ways you may currently be avoiding or underestimating?
- How can you imagine that your current challenges, transitions, or pivotal circumstances could become catalysts for deeper faith if you intentionally trusted God through?
