MLK DAY OF SERVICE
Find an MLK Day of Service project. Just enter your zip code and use “MLK” as your search keyword. You can get more info on the Day of Service Facebook page or check out Hands on Atlanta.

 

THE APEX MUSEUM
This museum is currently open on Saturdays, 11:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., and you must reserve a timed ticket online in advance. For $8.00/person, you can browse museum galleries that celebrate black heritage. The APEX Museum is located at 135 Auburn Avenue in downtown Atlanta.

 

CHILDREN’S MUSEUM OF ATLANTA
MLK Day Celebration
Visit on Monday, January 18, during one of three timed entry sessions at 9:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 3:30 p.m.

 

ATLANTA HISTORY CENTER
Explore the legacy of the great civil rights leader from home. Visit the Atlanta History Center's MLK Day virtual programming to see the program contents, including live talks which require registration to attend.

Purchase a timed ticket for entry during one of the following times:

  • Thursday, Friday: 12:00–5:00 p.m.
  • Saturday: 10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
