Restoring Christmas

A Digital Event For Those Who Have Experienced Loss

restoring christmas

Most of us think of Christmas as a happy time of year that’s full of fun and joy.

But when you’ve lost someone you love, the holidays can be incredibly difficult.

If you find yourself grieving the empty seat at your table or feeling conflicting emotions this Christmas, we want you to know you’re not alone. We’ve created a digital event just for you—Restoring Christmas.

We’ve invited Rachel Faulkner Brown to share her own journey with grief and how she learned to find joy, even in sorrow.

We’ll also provide uplifting music and share stories from others who have experienced loss.

Gather your family or close friends to watch together online Thursday, December 7, 8:00–8:45 p.m.

We’d love to experience Restoring Christmas with you!

Meet Our Speaker

Rachel Faulkner Brown’s story is one of heartbreaking loss and learning to find joy. In 2013, she began Never Alone, which has grown into a nationwide ministry to widows in 50 cities. Rachel and her ministry partner, Karen McAdams, published their first Bible study in 2021 called Father's House. In 2022, the Never Alone Widows team created a devotional called His Name: Our Hope in Grief.

Never Alone Widows has hosted over 1,200 widows for their curated retreats and conferences over the last four years, and they connect thousands of widows each month though local chapters. Although Rachel stays busy sharing her story of hope, she would say her greatest ministry happens at home with her husband, Rod, and two teenagers, Davis and Campbell.
