More Than Sunday

InsideOut meets from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Sundays at Decatur City Church.

The pivotal season of high school goes by fast. While the goal is often to survive these years, InsideOut is here to help students make the most of them. On Sunday afternoons, students meet up with their friends for live music, practical teaching, and small group conversation guided by adult leaders who care about them.

This Week in InsideOut

Tuned In Graphic

According to Google search data, people ask questions about God’s existence—including hearing from God—more than 200 times a second. Think about that: two hundred times every second.

It’s safe to say that people want to know how to hear from God. Why? Because God created us to have a relationship with him, to be tuned in to him. God put something inside each of us that wants to hear from him.

That’s why this month at InsideOut we’re talking about how to hear from God. We’ll discuss how the voice of God does not contradict the Word of God, how God gave us his Holy Spirit to help us hear from him, and how God can speak to us through people. We’ll challenge students to ask themselves, Am I asking God to speak to me? And when I do, am I paying attention and listening to God? In other words, Am I tuned in?
